1964–1974: the foundations of Jacquard
Our story began in 1964 with the founding of Tessitura Jacquard Messori Ettore; firm specialized in sophisticated jacquard fabrics and focused on precision weaving and high-quality artistry.
1986: a technological revolution
By 1974, steady growth and an expanded facility led to a pivotal transformation: the company became Tessilnova Lombarda s.n.c. and with this change came a sharpened focus on a second segment of the textile industry: the production of premium damask fabrics for mattresses.
Expanding Horizons: Innovation in Knitted Fabrics
Our commitment to innovation has been continuous and will always be. Over the years, Tessilnova Lombarda further expanded its operations as follows:
- New Production Hub: was inaugurated in Magnago (Milan)
- Diversified Offer: We diversified beyond woven damasks, adding the production of knitted fabrics and knitted damasks.
- Technical Advantage: We now utilize advanced technical yarns and have developed pioneering innovative finishing processes in our dedicated modern facility.

Tessilnova Lombarda was founded, specializing in Jacquard fabrics.

It became Tessilnova Lombarda SNC, with a new specialization: the production of damask fabrics for mattresses.

Opening of a local facility in Magnago for the production of knitted and damask fabrics.
2009
Establishment of the knitwear division.
